What is FITIS?
FITIS stands for Flowcrown Inspection, Testing & Integrity Services. It is the specialized Inspection & Audit Division of Flowcrown Technologies Limited, established to help homeowners, businesses and industries detect problems before they become failures.
Why do I need an electrical or solar PV inspection?
Every electrical or solar installation begins to deteriorate from the day it is commissioned. Loose connections, overloaded circuits, poor earthing, and hidden hot spots often remain unnoticed until they result in equipment failure, fire, or costly downtime. An inspection identifies these issues early before they become major problems.
How often should I get my system inspected?
We recommend annual inspections for residential properties and bi-annual or quarterly inspections for commercial and industrial facilities to ensure safety and reliability.
What is thermal imaging and how does it help?
Thermal imaging uses infrared technology to detect heat patterns. It helps us find "hot spots" that indicate electrical faults, loose connections, or overloaded circuits without needing to touch or dismantle the equipment. This non-invasive method allows us to identify problems quickly and accurately.
Do you provide a report after the inspection?
Yes. We provide a detailed engineering report with findings, risk scores, and actionable recommendations. Certificates of inspection are also provided where applicable.
What types of electrical systems do you inspect?
We inspect all types of electrical installations including distribution boards, switchgear, wiring systems, earthing systems, RCDs/RCBOs, and surge protection devices. We also conduct electrical safety audits and fault diagnosis.
What does a solar PV inspection include?
Our solar PV inspection includes thermal imaging of PV modules, string and cable inspection, inverter and battery inspection, MC4 connector inspection, performance audit, solar fire risk assessment, and pre-commissioning & warranty inspection.
Do you inspect lightning protection systems?
Yes. We provide comprehensive lightning protection system inspection including air terminal inspection, down conductor inspection, earth resistance testing, equipotential bonding inspection, SPD inspection & assessment, and lightning risk assessment.
What is included in your engineering audit?
Our engineering audit includes technical due diligence, engineering compliance audit, asset integrity assessment, risk scoring, corrective action reporting, and certificates of inspection where applicable.
